Connect FynOS to Claude and ChatGPT

A short guide for business owners and finance teams.

What it does

Connect FynOS to Claude or ChatGPT and you can ask questions about your business in plain English, for example “How did gross margin move last month?” or “Show me the details of order 1042.” The AI app looks up the answer in your FynOS reports and records.

It is read-only. The AI app can look, but it can never change, create, or delete anything in FynOS.

Connect in Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize and then Connectors.
  2. Search for FynOS (once FynOS is listed there) and choose Connect.
  3. Sign in to FynOS with your usual FynOS login.
  4. Under Company to connect, pick the company you want Claude to see.
  5. Review what Claude will be able to read, then press Allow access.

If FynOS does not appear in the search: choose Add custom connector, name it FynOS, and paste this server address:

https://mcp.fynos.ai/mcp

Then follow the same sign-in and approval steps. Custom connectors may not be available on every Claude plan.

Connect in ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins from the sidebar, or go to chatgpt.com/plugins.
  2. Search for FynOS (once FynOS is listed there) and choose Add.
  3. Sign in to FynOS with your usual FynOS login.
  4. Under Company to connect, pick the company you want ChatGPT to see.
  5. Review what ChatGPT will be able to read, then press Allow access.

If FynOS does not appear in the search: some ChatGPT plans let you add an app yourself using developer mode. Where that option is available, create a custom app and paste the same server address shown above. If your plan does not offer it, email us and we will help.

What is shared

  • Only what you allow. Before anything is shared, FynOS lists what the AI app will be able to read, such as your reports (P&L, sales and costs) and records such as orders, invoices and settlements. Nothing is shared until you press Allow access.
  • One company at a time. Each connection covers the single company you picked. To use another company, connect again and pick it.
  • Never changes your data. Access is read-only. Individual pay records and other sensitive records are never shared. Payroll shows only as a total on a saved report.
  • Approvals expire. Each approval lasts up to 30 days, after which you approve again.

How to disconnect

In FynOS: open Integrations in the sidebar, then Connections. Under Connected AI apps, choose Disconnect next to the app. Access stops right away. Only company owners and admins can see this page.

In Claude: open Customize and then Connectors, select FynOS, and disconnect or remove it.

In ChatGPT: open Plugins, select FynOS, and disconnect or remove it.

Disconnecting in FynOS is enough to stop all access, even if the app still appears in Claude or ChatGPT until you remove it there.
